Parent Support Group (Substance Abuse) For: Parents of Adolescents who are experimenting with, using, or abusing substances Structure: Open (Participants can start any time) Goals: To assist parents in: 1. understanding teen use and family dynamics; 2. talking to teens about substances; 3. coping and providing a place for mutual support; and, 4. identifying potential intervention strategies Time and Place: Mondays, 7:00 - 8:00 pm, Counseling Center of Decatur.
