Abuse of, and dependence on substances can cause
tremendous pain for both those addicted and their
families. At CCD, we offer several services to
assess and treat addiction to alcohol, illegal drugs,
and prescription medication.
Services include both evaluation and treatment.
Available treatment options range from individual or
family therapy to our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
We also offer services to educate and support the
loved ones of the dependent person.

Drug / Alcohol Evaluations
Do you wonder if you
have a problem with alcohol or drugs? Do you wonder
if your relationship to substances is normal? Do you
know your use is excessive, but don't know what level
of treatment you need to be free again? Do you wonder
if there is an underlying disorder such as depression
or anxiety that you are masking with your use?
A professionally conducted evaluation can answer
those and other questions about your alcohol or drug
use.

Intensive Outpatient Program
(Phase 1)
IOP is just what it sounds like. It's intensive,
involving 12 hours of treatment each week, for 6
weeks. It's Outpatient, so clients continue to attend
work or school and participate in treatment during
the evenings. It's an effective treatment for those
who need more than individual counseling and a
community support group, but who are not medically,
or otherwise in need of the controlled setting of
in-patient treatment.

Supportive Outpatient Program
(Aftercare: Phases 2-3)
SOP
is for those who have successfully completed our, or
another IOP, or
another type of Phase 1 treatment, such as an in-patient
treatment program. SOP is designed to transition the
client from the intensity of initial treatment to the
lifelong support of community support groups, such as
Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous.

Individual and Family Counseling
Counseling can play a
number of roles in the treatment of Substance Abuse. For
some, it is the only treatment required. For others, it
is an added intervention to a more intensive treatment,
such as IOP. Counseling is also used to address the
family issues that contribute to, or occur as the result
of substance abuse, or just to educate and support
family members who are in a relationship with a current
or recovering user.
