Individual Counseling for Teens and Adults

Offices: Denton

Counseling Fee $40

Education:

Currently in my final semester of UTA’s Social Work Program.

About Me:  I was drawn to a second career in counseling after a 20-year career as an attorney, which included assisting families through life transitions as a family law attorney.

I specialize in helping women, teens, and young adults navigate life’s transitions—whether it’s moving through divorce, navigating complex relationships (like co-parenting or friendships), stepping into a new career, adjusting to college, or redefining identity in midlife. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in practical tools from Reality Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Coaching. I focus on emotional resilience, relationship growth, and personal clarity. Together, we will work toward meaningful change and a stronger sense of self—at your pace, and in your voice.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling, going to the movies, spending time with friends, watching terrible reality TV shows, and spending time with my husband and teenage daughter.

Clinical Interests:

  • Facilitating personal growth and well-being through positive psychology and motivational coaching
