“Hello! My name is Skylar, and I’m a Master of Social Work Student from Texas Woman’s University. This is my second and final internship for my degree program. My focus in sessions is to create a safe space for individuals and see how we can work together. Goal setting, empowerment, and coping strategies are important tools in the therapeutic process and a focus of mine in sessions.
In my spare time, I enjoy cross-stitching, reading, and junk journaling. I’m also into tabletop gaming and video games. “
