About Me:
Welcome! I love to help kids and families when they are struggling. How do you know if therapy might be helpful for your child? Maybe it takes 2 hours to get out the door in the morning. Or your child’s school calls you regularly. You may be able to sense when your child is going to have a meltdown, or maybe even worse, you are completely caught off guard by meltdowns. You might avoid gatherings with friends and family because your child becomes overwhelmed or because you feel judged by others. You love your child fiercely, but the things you have tried don’t seem to work consistently.
I work with kids as young as 18 months old. I use child-centered play therapy to offer kids connection & emotional co-regulation. I also listen to parents without judgment to hear what has been tried and what has worked well. Together we can find what works well for your child.
I was drawn to a second career in counseling after assisting families through life transitions as a family law paralegal. In my spare time, I love to watch funny tv shows, be near bodies of water, and hang out with my three kids.
